Express Eye Tracker Software

What this software is

It is a communication interface between the Eye Express Tracker and the Analyzer Software. To achieve communication, the software triggers the eye tracker's lasers and records the received values. These values are then stretched and normalized and supersampled. Then the sent laser values are converted to the prior captured calibration values. These values may then be exported along with the recorded values and imported into Analyzer.

The values may as well be written into a CSV file to import the values into another spreadsheet tool like excel or SPSS. Unfortunately SPSS can mostly work on a limited range of 3000 cases, which is not satisfying, since 3000 values correspond to 6/5 seconds.

The data is supersampled at 2500 Hz to generate a constant datastream and to not colide with Nyquist's Theorem.

What this software needs to run (Prerequisites)

A java compliant runtime environment: JDK 1.3.1 or higher

Optional:
An Express Eye Tracker
